Description:  I set up alongside Mansfield Road to see if anything happened along. In amazingly short order, I heard the distant wail of an airhorn... but to my surprise, it was coming from the south! A moment later this northbound unit coal train roared past on the normally south-only Rabbit Line, with KCS/BNSF power up front, and CN/BNSF pushers in back.

Description:  Going away shot of the DPU on this southbound grain train as the last light fades. I had spent most of the day outside puttering around the house with various small projects, and heard nothing all day. Just as the light goes, I catch this guy. KCS ran another half dozen trains over the next three hours. Timing is everything.
