Album Info:The D8-32B was GE's answer to the GP40-2 or GP50, but never really caught on. NS was the majority owner of this model. In 2013, they were renumbered out of their original 35xx series to 5xx series by painting out the "3". They have all been retired. The D8-40B was acquired from Conrail and only operated for a short time before being sold to CSX
