Description:  Kind of a complex intersection where the spur to Dazey heads south, and the old line to Binford used to head north. The south line used to head to Rogers and eventually to the Jamestown Sub.

The big bridge

Description:  East of Karnak, ND we passed over the largest bridge on the line which crosses over the north end of Lake Ashtabula. This can be a very, windy place and it blew part of a westbound Z train off the bridge about 5 years earlier.

Description:  After getting our problem fixed, we proceeded east and took the big curve south to Casselton and you can see the Prosper Sub heading to west Fargo about 35 miles ahead. This used to be the routg of the GN Empire Builder.
