Description:  In a span of about 15 minutes, these three trains all showed up here at the EAS Sodem signals in Connellsville. First was the N731 coal train on the left. Then a D058 work train, and then the Q261 autorack train using Track 4 for yard headroom. That is how it goes around here. Either really busy or nothing at all..

Description:  L394-04 is restarting in Connellsville after a brief crew change, with lots of smoke being created by the second engine in line, which is a C40-8W. Ironically it was making more smoke than the older SD40-2 in front. The landscape here is looking very lush green right after some heavy rains.

Description:  The autorack train that was Q261-06 has now gotten a new number (Q253-06) after it arrived in Connellsville. Here it is getting its long train put together and it stretches back into the west end of the CSX Yard. The EAS Sodem signal bridge and Memorial Bridge for Route 119 are in the background. There is a myth that this location cannot be photographed because there are wires in the way. They can be worked around in a few select spots.

Description:  L352-18 is leaving South Connellsville with eight engines- CSX 98, 7729, 873, 3245, 7743, 5111, 5438, MMRR 24 and only seven railcars. I think CSX might be taking a loss on this train today.

It reportedly was sold to a paper mill somewhere. This was built as NP 368 in June 1958. Later became BN 1947 and CCH 1947. It has been MMRR ever since 1989.
