Album Info:Here are nine original photos that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad electric locomotives in Hollidaysburg and Frankstown, Pennsylvania, between 1962 and 1964. All of them were on their way to being scrapped at the PRR's Reclamation Plant.

Description:  Electric Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives in Frankstown, Pennsylvania, on 01 April 1962. Shown here (R to L) are PRR electric engines #4777 and #4743. Both are P-5A Modified's built in 1935 and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4777 was built by General Electric, but #4743 was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse. They are parked on the track leading directly into the PRR's Reclamation Plant. Next!
