Album Info:On February 26, 2017, CSX 422 was leading a string of ballast cars into NE Tyrone when the crew prepared the AC44CW for a layover. After seeing my daughter, son, and I watching from nearby, the crew called to us and asked if we’d like to have a look from the cab! It’s been a long time since friendly Conrail crews invited me on board an SD45 and also on a few GG1’s in 1977! After some safety cautions from the crew, we climbed aboard. The crew took a couple photos of us while I captured some views from the cab. Great thanks go to a friendly crew as they gave us a real treat!
