Description:  Classics. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Baltimore, Maryland, on 29 August 1916. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4173, a D-16B (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops as number "645" during February of 1901, renumbered "4173" in October of 1913, rebuilt as a D-16SB in February of 1917, and retired in October of 1929 after 28 years of faithful service. Note the hostler on the tender's deck. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" (Gift from Brad Mann.)
