Description: |
Built by Alco-Brooks in May 1910 intended for the Buffalo & Susquehanna as 2-8-0 #174 but the order was cancelled. The locomotive was sold in 1911 to Chicago & Illinois Midland as #10, retunbered C&IM #510 in 1927, sold to Georgia Car & Locomotive Company, sold July 7, 1938 to Midland Terminal as #61. The Midland Terminal rebuilt the locomotive to a 2-8-2 in 1939, but changed it back to a 2-8-0 in 1940. The locomotive was scrapped in 1949. |
