SOU 8375 |
Description: |
Date unknown. Photo by Rick's Studio, Valdosta, GA(?) This is what started it all. The tall figure standing at the steps between the cab and the tender is John LaFayette Duncan, my Grandfather. His Engineer, Mr. Baucome (not sure of the spelling there) was receiving his 30th year Safety Award from all the Southern Rwy officials standing on the turntable. A Richmond Alco, this was originally GS&F 205. This is the original condition of the photo, I will attempt a restoation in the coming weeks. |
