Album Info:Photographs on the old PRR line west of Altoona to my mind, is both exciting and somewhat repetitive. It is exciting because there is so much hill grinding action but dull because all the locomotives appear nearly the same. The NS takes extraordinary car of their fleet, so theres nary a hint of rust and, at least when Ive been there, very little foreign power. So when some color came thru it really stands out, even though I have a gazillion photos of this engines classmates in a multitude of Maryland venues. This stack train was 2 something V lead by a well rounded 2600. /DL
