Viewing Album:  Two Lonely LIttle CSL Units

Album Info:From the walkway over the Norfolk Southern mainlines in East Chicago, I watched as two little Chicago Short Line switchers, #28 and #31 heading east come to a stop amid the tracks. Almost lost in the maze of tracks, pole, signals and buildings around it, the two switchers just sat, waiting. It suddenly became obvious why they were waiting as an eastbound Norfolk Southern double stack barreled past the two small units followed by a westbound CSX train and then a westbound Norfolk Southern empty coil car train taking the wye to the IHB "Egypt Line" heading south after cutting across the tracks in front of the two switchers. Sometimes it's easier to wait than be run down!
