Description:  Starting in October of 1990, most 390 trains got a set of SOO power, sometimes with other units added in. Not all 390s dot SOO power, some got a mix of whatever was handy. This js one such train with an ex SOO, now CP unit, a second hand Southern unit, and a legit NS unit, seen about to cross Page Av in Eneicott with 58 cars

252 with unusual power
Title:  252 with unusual power
Description:  252 rolls south over the Harpursville bridge behind a trio of 40's. The two trailing units are notable. The middle unit is an ex SOU unit that was converted to a B unit by CP; they changed it by removing the seats and control stand, and boarding up the windows-yes, boarding up: they used plywood. The trailing unit is ex Greater Winnipeg Water District, and a trade from CN-note the road number that falls into CN's SD40 series.

Here it is near my house in Campville behind an interesting mix of power, one of SOO's SD60M's, and a former Greater Winnipeg Water District unit.
