Title:  Display Car #10093
Description:  Built in 1953 by Budd in Lot #9601-135 as AT&SF baggage-express-messenger #3535, 1 of 40 such cars (#3500-#3539) built in that Lot, which was ordered in September 1952; cars were delivered between June and December 1953. In 1971, Amtrak acquired 34 of the 40 cars as #1020-#1053; the #3535 as #1049. Between 1977 and 1980, Amtrak converted 33 of the 34 cars to HEP; the #1049 was converted to #1222 in April 1978. The #1222 was stored in February 2007 and was later 1 of 3 stored baggage cars selected for modification to display cars for the 40TH ANNIVERSARY TRAIN; the #1222 was selected for modification to the #10093 in April 2011. In the consist of the Amtrak EXHIBIT TRAIN parked at King Street Station. EXIF: 2:16 PM, f/3 @ 1/1000, ISO-100
