Title:  CB&Q Class XML-1 23056
Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XML-1 23056 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in June 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was one of 100 class XML-1 50 foot boxcars built by the CB&Q's shops in Havelock, Nebraska in 1955. They were numbered in the 23000-23099 series and were equipped with Evans Damage Free (DF) Loader Equipment. The XML-1 class was assigned BN numbers 317800-317899. Note that it still has its original Chrysler trucks, but by this late date the snubbers (shock absorbers) have been removed.
