Built in 1955 at CB&Q's Havelock, Nebraska shops, this was one of 100 class XML-1 50 foot boxcars in the 23000-23099 number series equipped with an eight foot door and Evans DF (Damage Free) Loader Equipment. The CB&Q XML-1's became BN 317800-317899.
