Aerial photo of the EFRR served Rail Park near time of completion of the Krispy Kreme Manufacture and Distribution Plant, so the date is approximately April 2002, hence the reason I chose April Fool's Day as the date. The buildings within the yellow area denoting the Rail Park are from the right; TQW warehouse with run through track door visible, Bunge then later Hodgson Mill, pre expansion which will double it in size. Centre of the area is occupied by the Krispy Kreme plant with the rail and truck unloading building being the chocolate walled building on the left. You can just make out the sweep of the tracks back from the shed to the EFRR Main which is over to the right under the angled yellow line and parallel to the CSXT/CN Interchange track and siding. At some point in the future EFRR will install a switch behind K.K leading to two storage tracks running down parallel with Pike Avenue. |
