UP 3794
As a westbound Santa Fe intermodal (with rear end helpers) descends on the south track, an eastbound UP intermodal comes up the north track. UP 3794 was later UP 3257:2. The extension at the rear of the carbody was an experimental rear toilet enclosure. Unpopular with the crews, the experiment was not repeated, and the door was welded shut in 1985. Date of photo approximate.
