Southern Railway piggyback train No. 222 is pulling out of the railroad's Oliver Yard, and about to get its train orders at N.E. Tower. The big block of gas cars -- behind the five cover cars -- were a regular part of this train throughout the 1970's. They originated at Toca, on the Southern's Louisiana Southern subsidiary. The locomotives are SD35 3003, SD45 3160 and SD35 3079. |
