Daniel Schroeder	General	Wow, 40 years ago I was at the state fair and visited with a man who was telling stories about the railroads in his day. I told him I had been trying to get a job on the railroad. He told me to call a man, (his brother?) in Desoto who was a union oficer on the Mopac. I called the next day and he said to tell them downtown, (St. Louis) that I know him. I gaot a juob the next day in August 1974. Planning on retiring from the MP/UP later in this year after 40 years. I never knew what number this engine was but I knew it was Frisco. Thanks for posting.	1/30/2014 5:00:13 PM
