Brand new Southern Railway MP15DC was parked in the New Orleans Public Belt's East Bridge Yard, next the the east end of the Huey P. Long Bridge. This was one of four such units -- 2367-2370 -- built that month and sent to New Orleans to replace three pre-war NW2's and NW5 2100. |
