CR 58576 and MW605
The crane and flatcar have separate numbers but both of them need to work together. This crane was built by American Crane Company. (Serial # J3089) I don't know the year it was built but it looks old enough to be from the days of the Pennsylvania RR, before Penn Central, Conrail, and Norfolk Southern came along. Seen on a maintenance of way train at the Consol Energy Alicia Yard. (On the Loveridge Secondary)

Ron Stafford General Curt, J-3089 is the American 'serial' number, not the model. Unfortunately I can't help you with the history of this unit. 4/3/2014 5:40:23 PM
Curt Beal General Thanks for your help anyhow. I will fix the description. 4/3/2014 9:45:09 PM
