WMSR 502 (9)  Contributor's Pick!       
The diesel helper shoving the passenger train up/around the Helmstetters Curve on an ideal October day. I thought it was neat to be able to get the whole train in one photo. The EMD GP30 is a restored former Conrail 2175/Reading 3607 engine, as the original Western Maryland Railway never had any GP30s on their roster. Built in April 1962.
