CRIP 4318 Editors Pick!        
OKLAHOMA CITY OK July 1977 -- In this undated photo Rock Island GP38-2 4318 (David L. Boren) is passing the Oklahoma State Fair grounds on its way to El Reno. EMD built the unit in October 1976. When the Rock Island shut down in 1980 it went to Missouri Pacific as MP 2256 and then to Union Pacific as UP 2256 and later renumbered to UP 756. It was retired on Nov 27 2006, acquired by GATX Rail Locomotive Group where it became GMTX 2128. (Date of photo approximate, roster information from rits.org, utahrails.net, dieselshop.us.
