Mike Woodruff General Wow - believe this is one of two EMD model SC switchers assembled at GE Erie. This unit was originally Lackawanna 426, then went to P&BR, Steelton and Highspire, back to P&BR where it was repowered with an 8-567B in 1962, then to Bethlehem Mines 109. 2/18/2006 11:27:35 AM
Mike Woodruff General Note the pre-AAR style trucks. Believe the built date was 3/35. Originally had an 8 cylinder Winton 201A engine. 2/18/2006 11:29:27 AM
Allan Malinovsky General I seen that thing at the helper terminal in Cresson in the mid-90's in BSC's basic yellow and black. Think it went east to a museum. 2/18/2006 4:47:31 PM
Eric Torrence General Yes it was restored. It's now DL&W 426 2/15/2008 5:17:59 PM
Ron Moraca General Great photo, Timothy!! 5/10/2009 10:17:01 PM
Tim Steeves General the reporting mark should be BMIX not BMC. 8/10/2014 2:28:30 PM
