Built in 1925 by Pullman in Lot #4845 as Plan #3410 12S-1DR sleeper THOMPSON, 1 of 225 such sleepers built in that Lot, which were delivered between February 19th and May 29th of 1925. Sold at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture to CGW and rebuilt in 1953 to business car #100. To C&NW in 1968 as #403 and named MINNESOTA in 1985. To UP in 1995, sold in 1996 to North Carolina DOT as #400000 (1st) GOVERNOR JOHN MOTEY MOREHEAD. Sold in 2006 to private ownership.
