| Former RDG 2060 is a good example of the upgrades done to the cars on certain upscale trains on the system. This car was part of the train "Schuylkill" and featured a small kitchen and cafe style area which was utilized during the train's trip between Philadelphia and Pottsville. The car was made into a full dining car in the 1960s and moved to the "Wall Street" run in the opposite direction out of Philly to the CNJ terminal at Jersey City, NJ. Retired in the 1970s and sold to become a diner, it was acquired by the museum in 2002 where it currently awaits restoration. |
