| After crossing the Fox River channel in Neenah, the CN follows former joint Milwaukee Road / Soo Line rail across Doty Island. The right of way run parallel River Street for a short distance as it crosses West North Water Street and Forest Avenue. At the lead end of the engine, one can spot the former Milwaukee and Northern (Milwaukee Road) Neenah depot on Forest Avenue. The train will cross the Fox River in Menasha once again as it leaves Doty Island. There used to be a few businesses to switch along this part of the line on Doty Island, but they all stopped using rail or closed. |
