SAL 2-10-0 #525 - Seaboard Air Line  Contributor's Pick!       
With the success that Seaboard Air Line had with the original 1918 Alco-Richmond decapods (called Russians by SAL) originally built for the Russian Government just before their empire was overthrown, SAL ordered two more batches of them from Baldwin. Specs - D-2 class, 56" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 24x28" cylinders, engine weight of 212,000 lb, tractive effort of 46,512 lb. unknown photographer
