| Built in 1907 by Alco's Manchester Works as B&M 100, this locomotive is one of only two road engines left from the "Route of the Minuteman." Renumbered to its present number in 1911, it was one of the last B&M steamers in operation when retired in the 1950s and donated to F. Nelson Blount's Edaville Railroad, one of the first locomotives acquired by the man that would later found Steamtown USA. After many years of display at South Carver, MA, it was moved further east to the Cape Cod Railroad at Hyannis, MA with plans for a restoration to active service which never occured. Acquired by the Danbury Railway Museum in 2000. |
