Here is page five of the Pennsylvania Railroad's 31-page "Ninety-Ninth Annual Report." It was issued originally on 13 February 1946. Depicted here is PRR engine #6713, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in August of 1944, and retired in December of 1956 after 26 years of faithful service. The illustration is entitled "The Pennsylvania Railroad at War." |
