TRB. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Summerdale, Pennsylvania, on 11 September 1966. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7210 and three other units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #7210 is an EFS-17M constructed in November of 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. These locomotives and their crew are approaching Enola Yard with an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train. Visible in the background are portions of the PRR's Rockville Bridge, spanning the left-to-right flowing Susquehanna River. Produced and distributed by Charly's Slides. |
