| Illinois Central Gulf GP40 3022 was on a set of power at the railroad's MAYS YARD, just west of New Orleans. This unit was from the Illinois Central’s first order of GP40’s (3000-3039) which were built in January and February 1966 and delivered in the black paint scheme. The 3022 was remanufactured into GP40R 3112 in January 1989, and was rebuilt again by the Canadian National in November 2000 as Locomotive Leasing Partners (LLPX) GP38M-2 2261. |
