| The Santa Fe had 8 of these cars, and Amtrak never got them because they weren't willing to pay Santa Fe's price! Santa Fe did sell 7, but kept this one, still part of the BNSF fleet today. The coach was built in 1954 with 57 coach seats and 18 lounge seats on the upper level, and a 28 seat lounge on the lower level-along with a nurse's office! Right under the bridge, so I couldn't get a great shot of it-still a beautiful car. |
