BEDT 0-6-0T #12 - Brooklyn East District Terminal
Originally built by H. K. Porter in 1916 for the US Navy Fleet Supply South Brooklyn, the little tank loco eventually migrated to the Brooklyn East District Terminal. It was also converted from coal burnning to oil burning. The little guy was retired circa 1962 and luckily ended up at the sunny Florida RR Museum as a static display. Maybe someday it will be restored to run the rails again! The date for the photo is approximate
