Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in East Peoria, Illinois, on 13 August 1965. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8844, an AS-16MS road switcher built by the American Locomotive Company in December of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in January of 1967 after just 16 years of revenue service.
