Frisco 2-10-0 1630 sits quietly with other steam power at the Illinois Railway Museum. The 1630 was initially built for the Russian Government, but was kept in the US after the Communist takeover in 1917. The unit was given to the Frisco, and it is one of thirteen surviving decapods in the US, and one of only two in operating condition.
