Portraits 6. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via Arthur B. Johnson that was taken in Morris Park, New York, on 1 June 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #230, an E-6S (4-4-2) "American" built in Juniata during August of 1914 and retired in May of 1952 after 38 years of faithful service. In this context, it's leased to the Long Island Rail Road. (#9 of 43)
