Portraits 6. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via F.R. Kern. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6699, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata as number "4700" during October of 1923, renumbered "6699" in 1933, and retired in July of 1950 after 27 years faithful service. This is the Pennsy's original M-1. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#33 of 43)
