| The UP local out of Belvidere typically makes the trek up and down Madison Street just two days a week to switch out a few cars at a couple of customers in Loves Park. A portion of this ex-C&NW line, including this street running, is also used by a trolley car operated by the Rockford Park District. Its schedule is arranged so as to eliminate any possibility of conflict with a UP freight movement on this dark territory. |
