Illinois Central 50-ton pulpwood car IC 7078 was on Louisville & Nashville local train No. 43 at Pascagoula, Mississippi. It was on its way from the International Paper Co. mill on the Mississippi Export at Kreole – on the east side of Pascagoula – back to the IC at Gulfport. The car had a CAPY of 100,000 pounds, at LD LMT of 122,000 pounds and a LT WT of 47,000 pounds, for a gross rail load of 169,000 pounds.
