Santa Fe 40-foot, 50-ton box car AT&SF 275732 was on the Louisville & Nashville’s OLD TEAM TRACK at Pascagoula, Mississippi on 28 June 1958. The building behind the car was the Railway Express Agency office, and the dump truck on the right had just crossed over several tracks on Frederic Street. The car had a CAPY of 100,000 pounds, a LDT LMT of 125,800 pounds and a LT WT of 43,200 pounds for a gross rail load of 169,000 pounds. This was one of 1,000 Bx-50 class cars in the 275500-275499 series by Pullman-Standard in 1948. |
