| Here is page 34 of a 64-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "World Famous Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Pennsylvania Railroad." It was first issued in September of 1973. Left Photo Caption: "When the Horseshoe Curve was opened for through traffic February 15, 1854, it had only one track as shown in this picture, which is believed to have been taken a few years later."
