PRR 6754, M-1B, 1957         
Here is a photo via Paul W. Prescott that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 28 April 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6754, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata as an M-1A during May of 1930, rebuilt as an M-1B by 1953, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. Partially visible just to the left of the air reservoir is HOMER Tower, situated at the apex of the Westbound Yards in East Altoona. Gary Mittner Collection.
