MILW 2-8-2 #729 - Milwaukee Road         
Nice example of an ALCo-Schenectady 2-8-2 Mikado type steam locomotive built for the Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul in November of 1914 originally as #8160 but renumbered to CMStP&P 729 in 1938. The loco served for nearly 37 years before being retired in January of 1951. Specs - L2 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26 x 30" cylinders, engine weight of 275,000 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. An unknown photographer took this photo.
