MILW 2-8-2 #646 - Milwaukee Road         
Standing near the water pipe is CMStP&P 2-8-2 Mikado #464. Built by Alco-Brooks in October of 1912 as CM&StP 8115 (serial #52188), it was later renumbered in 1938 to CMStP&P 646. After nearly 41 years of service, it was retired in March of 1953. Specs - class L2-r3" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 277,800 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. No date was given for this photo so a approximate one was used. An unknown photographer took this photo.
