| This transfer caboose awaiting restoration was originally Monon #81551 and was at one time, part of the Louisville & Nashville roster. Later it landed on the Indiana Transportation Museum roster. With the sudden demise and liquidation of that museum in Noblesville in 2019, the Hoosier Valley RR Museum was lucky enough to save the caboose from destruction. It awaits its restoration day. |
