| UP 2813 brings up the rear of a five unit lashup that has just brought the heavy stacktrain up from the Snake River crossing at the Idaho, Oregon border. The train has left the canyon and is proceeding to Huntington in the background and points west. The mainline curves to the right around the UP Huntington Yard. Lime, Oregon is about five miles ahead just out of sight to the right of photo. From there it is a stiff climb to Baker City. |
