| Some fun & confusing history on this line. Pioneer Rail ran this line from Assumption through Decatur and onto Cisco in the north. AT some point they got kicked off the Decatur-Cisco portion and now just serve grain elevators south of Decatur. They have an engine "terminal" (using that term loosely) on the north end outside of Elwin. 1609 was parked here in about the worst position possible. Lacking time to head farher south looking for the rest of the power, I had to make due with this-for now. |
