The MP15AC has non-alignment control couplers...which means that it has to travel as the second unit in the consist between two d/b equipped locos (ex: SD70Ms). Why? Because there is a high probability that if placed as the last unit in the consist, when the engineer throws it into d/b, the slack will run in on the goat and with non-alignment control couplers, could "pop" the goat off the rails and initiate a relatively major derailment.
