Santa Fe U30CG units at Denver
Title:  Santa Fe U30CG units at Denver
Description:  Santa Fe ordered six U30CG units from GE for passenger service (#400-405). They were built in November 1967. From what I have read they didn't last long. Two of the units derailed in Feb 1969 and the Santa Fe pulled them from passenger service. They remained in freight service till 1980 when they were traded in to GE. #8001-8002 were in this consist at Denver.
